If using an AMD cpu / motherboard.  You will use the existing motherboard plate under the motherboard. Simply remove the existing cpu fan mounts on top. Then four spacers and two separate mounts will be installed upon which the fan / heatsink will be installed.
It is a piece of cake. No complications.
