Yes, the device is compatible with windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I am using the device with a weather station and I like the led flashing showing that the program is communicating with the weather station.

We use these to communicate between a Gumstix computer (running Linux OS) and our 1980's vintage (legacy) dataloggers in a nationwide UV monitoring network - where these devices are outdoors in an unheated enclosure.  It is one of only two of these specific converter cables that will talk with our vintage dataloggers.  We also use this device, or the one other manufacturer version, to talk to the datalogger directly using a laptop computer running Windows 7 - 64-bit.  Hope this helps.

No idea, but with W7 it has Not worked with any of my legacy devices using a serial port,, X10 Flash dongle, RS232 GPS, Data Recorders,,,Not too happy.  But I suspect it W7 issues, not the converter...  Suggest you Google reviews or serial forums.

Hi Jeff. Yes, I have used this with windows 10 Home and Professional. The Windows 10 OS was able to assign the correct driver automatically.
