can the riser cable 4.0 be changed to a 5.0?

i think yes cause there is a screws holding the cable on holder so i think u can change the cable 4.0 to 5.0! but the question is, there is a cable already 5.0?

Is this compatible with Corsair 4000D Airflow case?

Even though you can remove the PCI slot covers on the back of the case, the 4000D still has thin horizontal support bars, so you'd have to deploy the CM GPU kit in a slightly extended position for the DP/HDMI cable to clear the slots (you can slide the CM kit to lengthen it). Depending on the length of your GPU, this may or may not fit. (You could of course just cut the horizontal bars using a simple scissor designed to cut metal).
