Question 1

Since this is basically a cabled connection, will it reduce wireless speeds such as one ethernet cable would?

These are essentially the ends of the cable.  The wired connection should not affect your Wireless speeds.  You are connecting it to a switch for the wired connections which gives a dedicated path.  When you use wireless, you are essentially using a hub with all the devices sharing the medium.  The more wireless connections, the more likely it is to slowdown.  When I set mine up, I went switch to switch and then had three additional devices at the far end.  Each device gets a dedicated wired connection since I am using switches.  I've found wired connections to be superior to wireless since there isn't the hub effect, and wired is not affected by spurious emissions such as microwaves.  Sorry to ramble, but I hope this has been useful.

Question 2

I am going to need one unit connected to the modem and then three other units for televisions. Is there a different part number for the additional outlets or do you just buy 2 kits?

Think of the units as the end of a piece of wire which is what they are.  They are point to point connection, so buy enough to connect all your devices.  If you can use a switch you may need fewer units.

Question 3

The title states up to 500 mbps but the "featers" say up to 200.  So... Which is it?

The documentation from D-Link mentions that it's 200mbps, but this is a theoretical limit between links. Actual speeds would be a bit slower, and more importantly the attached ethernet port is only 100mbps.

I tested mine at about 50mbps, but I also have no view of my line quality.

Question 4

Does this come with two powerline plugs?
