In Powerline Networking

Ease of use: Didn't matter what I was connecting to. Plug it in, connect a network cable and in under a minute the network was found and connected. This was the first time I've used powerline networking, and although the instructions were well written and easy to follow, I could have easily set things up with no directions. Despite the warning on the box of the powerline adapters needing to be on the same electrical circuit, I observed fairly consistent performance throughout my house. In some configurations, they were certainly NOT on the same circuit (how many people, especially non-technical individuals really know how the circuits in their home are laid out? Mine required careful study to determine which were/were not on the same circuits). In my basement I found the slowest speeds, even when both were connected in the same room, which is ironic because it is closest to the breaker panel. Mostly the throughput averaged 50-60 Mbps, which isn't what I call fast, but consistency counts for something. With one connected in the basement and the other adapter upstairs, it still performed satisfactory (~50Mbps), with plenty enough speed for HD streaming, web surfing, downloading files, and other general use. My house is not huge, it is a three level townhouse style home, so my experience may not closely match that what you would get in a mansion, so your mileage may vary. Reliability is great. Plug them in, make the connection and forget about them was my experience. I like the bright LEDs, it is easy to tell what is going on with a quick glance. The included software for monitoring the connection and speed is easy to use and intuitive.

Hooked up easy. Was able to connect to my existing D-Link Powerline adapter. Provided speeds superior to my previous model of the same AV2 standard connected to the same recepticles.

it works, don't have to run cable around the house. I have it setup going between 2 floor and the connect is good and so far no issue.

The devices seem to have been paired out of the box.. I am getting my full bandwidth through the connection, although it is only 24mbps.. Setup was a piece f cake..

Easy to install. plug play and run. Nothing else needed very impressed with these gems and may buy more just as an incase.
