The headset will connect to any desk phone with the correct adapter, it doesn't interface directly with a VoIP system.

The included headset cable is RJ-9. I have purchased RJ-9 to 2.5mm cables to adapt to older phones.

I have ordered several of these over time and they do arrive new in the box. I recommend ordering only from the main website we are already on and not from any of the alternate sellers.

This product does not come with the Jabra GN1000 unit. This product includes only the instructions, the power adapter, the headset cradle, the headset, and a few replacement ear pieces.

Hook up is by wire between the phone and base. Real easy.

I use the device throughout a 3500 sq.ft office area with walls and I haven't dropped a call.
