Konami brings its popular soccer series to the DS that packs plenty of intense – and fun – action. Play exhibition matches against Konami's original team, the 10 licensed football club teams or any of the 57 national teams or take them on in World Tour mode. Successfully defeating a team and achieving milestones earns coins that can be used to add star players from teams you've beaten to improve your squad.

Before each match, you can configure game difficulty, uniform, player positions and mentalities. You can also compare your team's strengths against those of your opponent's. Use the touchpad to alter your team from offensive to defensive stance on the fly and kick, pass and tackle with the face buttons. Take on another player using single-cartridge wireless connection or you can hop onto the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service to take on players from around the world with the ability to find matches against players of similar level.
