All you have to do As install the software or if you want more bells and whistles you can install third party software eg; Roxio or Ashampoo.

That is an extremely specific question that would be hard to answer unless someone else owned exactly the same computer. I built all my own computers, and therefore I say just go for the win!

No as this drive was not designed for that type of resolution. BDXL will let you write 128 GB to a disk once but you will need a different player to play 4k disks.

Lightscribe is no longer supported by HP which was it's original publisher and to the best of my knowledge no Blueray burner currently uses it.  LG was one of the last to use it for CD and dvd drives in 2014.

No, not by default or afficially, but you can install it in a Mac Pro and use Aurora Blu-ray player for play back as well as Roxio toast for burning to Blu-ray.
