It comes with a bootable USB and license. Plug the USB in, start your computer, press the boot from USB button (search depending on your motherboard), and then enter the product key that written on a paper slip inside the box.

The software and the license to use the software are two different things. You can install the software on all three machines, but you can use the license only on one machine. Thus you need to buy two more licenses for the other machines. I believe you can do this after (or while) you install the software, but you should check the Microsoft website for accurate information.

You can only install it to one computer at a time, and it comes with 1 switch so you can move it to a new PC if you'd like, but it will remove it from the old one.
