How did we get our start?
It’s almost embarrassing. Ann Thariani had terrible feet. While living in Pakistan with her husband, she found a remarkable Foot Scrubber that tamed even her wild feet. In 1990, they brought them to the US, adding other wonderful body care products.
Why do we love what we do?
We love helping people have healthier skin with natural products and believe that ingredients matter. Customers write to us about how much better their feet feel and it’s incredibly gratifying.
Why terra-cotta?
In many parts of the world, terra-cotta is used in all sorts of remarkable ways. Our unique Foot Scrubber is hand formed and fired in a kiln, so it lasts for years.
Our Eco-Commitment
Our terra-cotta Foot Scrubbers are 100% plastic-free and come in an easily recyclable cardboard box.
It matters because tiny particles called microplastics wreak havoc on our water, soil and wildlife. Plastic pumice bars break down with use, constantly releasing microplastics. Our Foot Scrubbers don't - so you get a great scrub and a cleaner environment.

We’re proud of the fact that starting in 1993, we've helped educate women and children in Pakistan, starting with the women who make our Foot Scrubbers and their children.
We now promote and help support The Citizen's Foundation, a local group in Pakistan that builds schools, trains teachers, and helps educate children in poor urban and rural areas.
