Before Installation
- Check that the packaged product is in good condition upon receipt
Easy to install
- Removed the door cover (Sometimes maybe need remove the window regulator together with the window or the outer door handle)
- Take out the broken door lock actuator, being careful not to damage the rest of the door
- Install the new door lock actuator, properly connect all the cables and links
After Installation
- Properly seal the weatherstrip right above the door lock actuator (don't leave any gap) to prevent rainwater penetrates into the door lock actuator cause shorts the switch inside
- Lubricating the door locks and the trunk/tailgate locks in time to prevent rust for a long-life
