1. Promote melatonin secretion
Red light may inhibit the interference of blue light on the pineal gland or directly stimulate the synthesis of melatonin precursors, lower nighttime cortisol (stress hormone) levels. such as:
Experiments on female basketball players found that exposure to 670nm red light for 30 minutes every night for 14 days resulted in higher levels of melatonin in the experimental group compared to the control group;
