Can it charge for 24V and 36V battery?
This charger is specifically designed for 12V battery only and is not compatible with 24V or 36V.
Can this charger charge multiple battery types? Example:AGM; Lithium
Yes, it can, select the suitable mode by pressing the "MODE" button. Example: AGM, you can choose "12V SLA/AGM"; ithium, choose "12V LITHIUM".
Can this charger be plugged in 24/7 while storing the boat or being on a dock?
Yes, it can. When voltage of battery being charged drops, charger will automatically replenish the charge. When battery reaches its full charge, charger will automatically enter battery maintnance program to ensure optimal performance & longevity.
Why does the charger get hot when charging? Is it safe?
It is safe. When the charger temperature is high, output current will automatically decrease; or Over-temperature indicator will blink and charging will stop. When the charger cools down, it will charge automatically without manual operation.
