System Power Wiring Options
You have two wiring options:
- Connect the red wire to the reverse light for operation only while reversing.
- Connect to a 12V car charger socket for continuous power. Note: The camera's LED lights will illuminate automatically whenever the unit receives power, and cannot be turned off independently.
Hidden Installation
This rearview camera features a hidden installation design, allowing it to be nicely concealed behind the license plate without blocking any critical information. Its discreet and space-saving design ensures you never have to worry about obscuring any part of the license plate and risking violations
How to proper install the suction cup mount?
- To correctly install a suction cup, avoid the common mistake of snapping on the clips without first pressing the suction cup bracket firmly against a flat surface. While it might seem to hold temporarily, this method results in weak suction and the cup is likely to fall off easily.
- The proper way is to first open the clip, then firmly press the suction cup onto the surface. Make sure the silicone underneath is pressed flat and squeeze the air out of it. After ensuring the suction cup is securely in place, firmly close the clip. This method ensures that the suction cup is stable and securely attached.

Is this camera wireless?
No, the B7 backup camera is a wired system. But easy to hook up and there is no interference.
Can I see the screen when I put on polarized sunglasses?
No, the screen is not compatible with polarized sunglasses.
Is it possible to connect the camera to a stereo radio/head unit?
No, the B7 camera is only compatible with the supplied screen. To learn about cameras that is compatible radio/head unit, please search for B09HHC92MY.
How long are the cables?
The power cable is 10ft, the extension cable is 33ft, and the car charger cable is 9.84ft. *If you think the length is not enough, you can search for DC extension cables or 4-pin extension cables to add more length.

This B7 system does not support RCA connectors. It is designed to work exclusively with mini 4-pin and DC connectors, and it is only compatible with the included dedicated screen/camera.
