ROVE Electrostatic Film & The Sticky Tape For Front and Rear Camera
Introducing the ROVE Windshield Electrostatic Films & 3M Sticky Tapes – 2-Pack Each for Front & Rear, This package is designed to help you securely mount the sticky mount for your dash cam on the front windshield and the rear cam on the rear windshield. Electrostatic films and 3M sticky tapes allow you to easily install and remove your dash cam without leaving residue, ensuring a clean and firm hold.
This Electrostatic Film and 3M Double Sided Sticky Tape bundle includes:
- 2-Pack Electrostatic Films (Front)
- 2-Pack Electrostatic Films (Rear)
- 2-Pack Double-Sided 3M Sticky Tapes (Front)
- 2-Pack Double-Sided 3M Sticky Tapes (Rear)

Installation Guide for Electrostatic Films and 3M Sticky Tapes
Step 1: Prepare the Mounting Surface
Thoroughly clean the designated mounting area on your windshield using the provided cleaning wipe or a microfiber cloth. Remove all dust, dirt, and grease, then allow the surface to air dry completely for optimal adhesion.
Step 2: Remove the Protective Layer
Now, peel off the back side of the electrostatic film's cover, do NOT touch the middle where you will be sticking the 3M tape / dash cam mount.
Step 3: Attach the Electrostatic Film to the Windshield
Align the electrostatic film precisely over the windshield area where the mount will go. Press down gently but firmly to secure it without creating air bubbles. If bubbles appear, use a soft cloth or credit card to smooth them out, starting from the center and moving outward for a smooth, secure finish.
Note: Avoid the dot-matrix pattern as the electrostatic film will NOT stick properly over the bumpy pattern.
Step 4: Clean The 3M Sticky Mount
Remove the old adhesive from the dashcam mount, then clean the mount’s surface with a microfiber or lint-free cloth and a bit of rubbing alcohol to eliminate any dirt or oils. Let it dry completely before applying the new adhesive sticker for a secure hold.
Step 5: Peel Off The Protective Liner
Peel off the yellow side of the protective liner on the 3M adhesive sticker to expose the adhesive. Avoid touching the sticky surface with your fingers to prevent oils or dirt from compromising the adhesion.
Step 6: Apply The Sticky Tape To The Mount
Align the 3M adhesive sticker carefully with the back of the sticky mount, ensuring it’s centered. Press down firmly and apply even pressure for about 30 seconds to create a strong bond.
Step 7: Peel Off The Red Side
Peel off the red protective liner to reveal the adhesive side for the windshield. Carefully position the sticky mount on the desired spot, then press firmly for 30-60 seconds with even pressure to ensure a secure bond.
Step 8: Stick The Dashcam
After applying the film, align the dashcam’s sticky mount over it. Then press the mount firmly to secure it to both the film and the windshield.

Installation Guide for Electrostatic Films and 3M Sticky Tapes
