Experience music and movie soundtracks with the compact and stylish Silk 4 bookshelf speakers. Designed for neutral and transparent sound with a spacious soundstage, they deliver an immersive and detailed listening experience. The design features a matte black painted front baffle with rounded edges and a light brown veneer in an embossed cross-brush pattern. They perform well in any room or office setting, on shelves, desks, or stands, and are compatible with shelf-type wall mounts. The 1-inch dome tweeter utilizes an ultralight silk diaphragm for stability and damping, with ferrofluid cooling, a finned heatsink, and a neodymium magnet to minimize power compression. Its waveguide faceplate ensures off-axis response matched to the woofer. The 4-inch woofer has a damping-treated paper cone for improved linearity and reduced coloration, a long-throw suspension and efficient motor for enhanced bass, and a cast aluminum basket for rigidity to prevent ringing and reduce reflections.
