Adding a go-anywhere option to Aputure's line of BLAIR-CG LED chipset lights, the STORM 80c BLAIR-CG LED Monolight is a compact point-source fixture offering a tunable palette with extremely high color accuracy. It pairs a powerful and innovative full-spectrum chipset with advanced white-point control, professional color accuracy, a secure Mini ProLock Bowens accessory mount, and sealed-seam IP65-rated construction for working in extreme conditions. The STORM 80c comes with a 35° hyper reflector, diffuser, soft case, mount cover, and power adapter with a cable.

BLAIR-CG Light Engine

• The STORM 80c's BLAIR-CG chipset features blue, lime, amber, indigo, and red LEDs to deliver higher brightness levels and color accuracy levels.
• Rated 97 for CRI and 99 for TLCI standards, this light also scores an 88 SSI rating at 3200 and 84 at 5600K color temperatures.
• Richly saturated colors, including accurate yellow, are possible using 90% of the Rec2020 color space.
• A calibrated indigo emitter produces white light that more closely matches daylight and tungsten light.

Dimming and Connectivity

• Offers four dimming curves: linear, exponential, logarithmic, and S-shaped.
• Wired and wireless options offer users a variety of control protocols, including 3-pin DMX and LumenRadio CRMX.
• App control via Bluetooth and the Sidus Link and Sidus Link Pro apps enables you to integrate the light into professional lighting workflows.

1800 to 20,000K Color Temperature

• The STORM 80c produces an impressive CCT range of 1800 to 20,000K.
• Tweak the output to eliminate undesired casts using the light's full ASC MITC 100%+/- green control range.

Build and Performance

• The STORM 80c measures only 6x4x4" without its yoke and weighs just 2.23 lb, letting you take it almost anywhere.
• A handheld grip can be attached using one of the 3/8"-16 female threads.
• This light features a mini ProLock Bowens mount, enabling you to securely attach modifiers like Fresnels and diffusers.
• Its rugged construction is rated IP65 for dust and weather resistance, suiting it for use in extreme environments.

Aputure CF4 Fresnel for STORM 80c

Designed for the STORM 80c light fixture, the CF4 Fresnel from Aputure intensifies the light output by 5.5 times, producing up to 36,000 lux. It focuses the light's beam spread from a tight 15° to a 40° medium flood with smooth falloff from the center to the edge. Compatible with CF4 barndoors, the CF4 Fresnel has a Mini ProLock mount and comes with a carrying case that can also fit the separately available barndoors.

The Barndoors for CF4 Fresnel from Aputure are specifically designed for the Fresnel that fits on the STORM 80c light. These eight-leaf barndoors enable you to quickly shape and/or cut the light output. They also have a holder for a 5" metal scrim for further modifying the output.

Aputure Light Dome 40 with Grid for STORM 80c (15.7")

The eight-sided Light Dome 40 with Grid for STORM 80c from Aputure transforms your STORM 80c LED monolight's output into an ultrasoft area light, bathing your subject in diffused light. It has a 15.7" diameter and is quickly attached using its mini-Bowens ProLock mount. It comes with a carrying bag, a detachable control grid, and one-stop and two-stop diffusers that enable you to fine-tune intensity and light quality.

Aputure Handheld Bracket with V-Mount and D-Tap Cable for STORM 80c

The Handheld Bracket with V-Mount and D-Tap Cable for STORM 80c from Aputure provides a handgrip and battery support for your STORM 80c monolight. Use this bracket to hold handhold your STORM 80c while powering it from a battery with a D-Tap power output using the included coiled D-Tap cable. It features a 3/8"-16 top thumbscrew, a bottom 5/8" baby pin receiver, and a mechanical V-mount plate.

Aputure D-Tap to Locking 5.5mm DC Barrel Power Cable for STORM 80c

This D-Tap to Locking 5.5mm DC Barrel Power Cable from Aputure enables you to power your STORM 80c monolight from a V-mount or Gold-mount battery or another source with a D-Tap output port. This coiled cable has a D-Tap on one end and a barrel connector on the other, both right-angled.

Aputure Super Clamp with T-Handle

Use the Super Clamp with T-Handle from Aputure to give multi-surface support to a light like the STORM 80c with a CF4 Fresnel and barn doors attached or an accessory with an anti-twist 3/8"-16 screw. This clamp features a 4.23 lb payload capacity, T-handle fastener, cold shoe, and 1/4"-20 threads.

Use the Universal Magic Arm from Aputure to support a light like the STORM 80c with a CF4 Fresnel and barn doors attached or an accessory with an anti-twist 3/8"-16 thread. This articulating arm features a 4.23 lb payload capacity, a large fastener, and dual ball joints. It also has anti-twist screws on both ends.

Safely transport your STORM 80c 3-Light Kit in this Wheeled Hard Case from Aputure. The waterproof and dustproof hard-shell case features a foam insert that is laser cut to cradle each of the lights and accessories in the kit.
