The Motorola DS3578-SR2F005WR is a handheld barcode scanner with a single line scan pattern having scan rate of 36 scan/s. It has a patented single circuit board construction for maximum durability and industry-leading working range of 13 mil 100% UPC bar codes from 3 in. to over 69 in. This scanner captures virtually all 1D and 2D bar codes on any surface including bar codes printed on traditional paper labels or displayed on the screen of a mobile phone, tablet or computer.

This handheld barcode scanner uses imager image sensor that delivers excellent 1D and 2D scanning performance with superior scanning speed and a wide data capture range. It provides superior motion and angular tolerance so that codes can be captured faster, and there is no need to pause during scans. The unit has a durable construction and can withstand 50 consecutive drops to concrete from 6.5 ft and 5,000 consecutive 3 ft./1 m tumbles.
