Does this stand come with screws to mount the plates to your monitor?

Yes but......... they are not black in color to match the stand. Consider purchasing matching screws.

Question 2

I'd like to use it for one monitor so I can use it with my adjustable stand up desk.  If I only mount monitor to the top, can I then slide it up and down on the rod so when I sit down I can lower the monitor and visa versa slide it up so when I stand I can raise it?

It could work for this, although heavier monitors do like to work lose after repeated moving, but I think this stand is better suited for static uses, (the clamps don't have any easy,lock and they almost never feel quite as tight as they could but if you don't intend on moving monitors often it works well

How much weight can it support?

I have 2 monitors on each of my stands one 24inch one 22.5 inch. Total about 15lbs had this set up for about a year now. It holds them very well but gravity takes effect and you have to tighten the key about once every 5-6 months but could just be my OCD ways as it didn't loose height just became to easy to swivel left and right but that's my only complaint. Other than that super sturdy.

Question 4

Can someone tell me if you can REVERSE the base so that the "V" shape can be reversed?  I dont want the "legs" taking up any space in my work area, and would like to know if it can be rotated around so that it is to the back of the desk out of the way of the work area.  Thanks

Hey Richard! The "V shaped base" can be reversed, however, it is what supports the weight of the monitors. If the legs were to be orientated backwards the monitors would fall over. When I purchased mine, it also came with a separate desk mount that would mount through a hole in the desk.

Will this work with two 29" ultra wide monitors? Specifically the dell u2917w?

As long as the mounting style is the same they should work but I ran into problems with weight for both monitors I used a zip ties to stop the bracket from sliding down.

Question 6

can i turn the vesa mounts around to mount a thin client behind the monitor or have a one monitor facing backwards and one monitor facing forwards??
