Connecting DP to USB-C Female for External AR Devices
The USB-C port with external power supply can adequately support AR devices due to their relatively low power requirements. The AR device can be powered via the host device's USB-C port, a power bank, or a wall charger. However, when connecting a portable monitor, an external wall charger is required, as otherwise the portable monitor will not receive sufficient power.
Connecting DP to USB-C for External Portable Monitors
As the USB-C power delivery protocol is based on the PD (Power Delivery) standard, some portable monitors may not be fully compatible with this cable's power supply capability.
