Q1: The HDMI cable doesn't work.
A: Our hdmi to usb c cable is built with the solution of DisplayPort Alternate Mode. So if your USB-C devices doesn't support DP Alt Mode (video output over Type-C port) or Thunderbolt 3, it will NOT work!!!
Q2: My laptop/ cellphone is compatible with the usb to hdmi cable, but it still can't work.
A: 1. Please update the BIOS and graphic card driver from the official website of your laptop, then restart your laptop to try again.
2. please make sure that you have chosen the correct input source. For example, your TV has three HDMI ports 1, 2, 3, when you connected HDMI 1, you should choose HDMI 1 as your TV’s input source with your TV’s remote control.
3. Set the laptop's resolution same or lower as 1080P.
Q3: Is the usb-c hdmi cable bi-directional?
A: No, it is NOT bi-directional!!! The usbc to hdmi cord only supports to transfer signal from USB C laptop/ tablet/ cellphone to HDMI display.
Q4: My monitor keeps dropping connectivity.
A: Please make sure the usb to hdmi cable is stable connected and do not move your laptop and cable during use. Then restart your laptop/ cellphone to try again.
Q5: My monitor doesn't have sound.
A: For MacOS, Please go to Apple iconSystem PreferencesSoundOutput, choose your TV as the sound output.
For Windows 10, please click right bottom of your sound iconchoose your TV as the sound output.
For Sony TV, if you are running MacOS, you probably need to go to LaunchpadOtherAudio MIDI SetupDisplayPortOutputPlease choose 2 ch 16-bit integer.
Q6: How to set mirror and extend mode?
A: For MacOS, Top left corner Apple iconSystem PreferencesDisplaysMirror or Extend Displays;
For Windows 10, press Windows key + P combination commandchoose Duplicate or Extend.
