I can't get this to work on Windows 10.  Says device is not working properly?

I got mine to recognize a PATA HDD in Windows 10, but have not been successful in getting the computer to recognize an older IDE HDD.

Can this be used connected to a network as a shared network drive? I have an old IDE and an old SATA hard drive I'd like to set up as network drives.

It allows you to treat any drive you put in the Dock as an installed disk.  So you can do anything you want to the disk.  Just might have a speed restricted by your usb allowed speed.

Is this compatible with Western Digital IDE HDDs? Some of these have notes stating that they may not or will not be compatible with WD.

I want to copy info from an older EIDE hdd onto my desktop thru a USB3.0 port.  Will this work?
