This Speedy SATA Drive Dock (NST-D158C3-BK) is designed for any SATA Storage Drive. It connects your Fast SATA III drive to your system USB C port and is capable of a theoretical speed of 10Gbps. The design is simple, it works just like a toaster, once connected, simply insert any 2.5" or 3.5" SATA III/II/I drive into this Dock, power it ON, and you are ready to use the storage. The Dock comes with native USB C, USAP support, integrated with the latest USB 3.2 Gen2x1 technology, and USAP support to help speed up file copy or access to the stored data. Swapping drive is fast and easy, just perform a USB eject, power down, swap drive, power back ON and it is ready again. The need of opening up your computer case or installing the hard drive is now a distant memory.
