Is this only for the "Be quiet" cases? Or is this compatible with various towers like my nighthawk 117?

The best way to confirm specs is actually by checking the manufacturer's website. With many of our products you can click on the "Warranty & Returns" tab and you will find the Manufacturer's contact info, including the manufacturer's website.  This item is specifically designed for use with the Dark Base Pro 900 case, and may not be compatible as a generic shroud for your particular case.

Question 2

the darkbase pro 900 has a motherboard panel that can swap sides, is the PSU shroud universal or is it limited to one side or the other?

The instruction booklet shows instructions for installation both ways.  I have an inverted, right facing mobo as well and it should work.

I only returned mine for replacement because the side edges of the shroud were damaged in shipping (metal bent over and paint flaked).  You should check that too if you decide to order this.

Question 3

I have a thinner radiator placed between the HDD bays and the front fan mounts, it's uses the entire vertical space of the case, will this cause issues with installing the shroud? If that's the case (heh), does anyone have an alternative I can find?

ive build a custom watercooling loop with a thin 420mm in the front and the top; it will not interfere with the installation of the shroud; just be warned if you are custom watercooling the shroud will make the build much more challenging.

Question 4

I have the Dark Base Pro in white. Do you have the shroud in white please?

I also have the White Dark Base Pro 900, and would have loved a white PSU shroud.  But unfortunately I don't think they make the shroud in white.  I also don't think they make the HDD slot covers in white.  I painted them with white PlastiDip, and it came out fine.

If you are also painting a radiator white, then you might want to use white engine enamel on the radiator, but white PlastiDip will work out just fine for the PSU shroud.

Question 5

I have a rad placed between the front fan mounts and the HDD bays, will this interfere with the installation of the shroud? If it does are there any alternatives anyone know to use?

All top panels are removable. The panel closest to the front of the case can be removed to create more space to accommodate multiple sizes of radiators.

Question 6

will this work on my dark base 900 non pro and let me keep all my hdds? the drives are loaded form the back side of the case

and you will have to remove one HDD case to installed (the second from the bottom)
