TTL-232R-5V-AJ is a USB to UART cable, +5V TTL level UART signal. It incorporates FTDI's FT232RL USB to Serial UART interface chip, which handles all USB signals and protocols. This cable provides a quick and easy way to connect a TTL-level serial interface to USB. It contains a small internal electronic circuit board, using the FT232R encapsulated in a USB connector on one end of the cable. The other end of the cable is a 3.5 mm audio jack (AJ) connector. The USB end of the cable is used for USB power and USB 2.0 full speed compatibility.
