X520-DA2 PCIE x8 to 2-Ports 10GbE SFP+ Converged Ethernet Adpater
This LinksTek X520-DA2 dual 10GbE SFP+ ports converged Ethernet adapter provides reliable and unified 10GbE LAN and SAN connectivity for data centers, network attached storage (NAS), multi-processor servers, and desktop PCs. It is ideal for gaming, storage, and virtualization applications. Based on Intel’s 82599ES 10 Gigabit Ethernet Controller, this adapter is compatible with most Windows and Linux systems. It utilizes the PCIE 2.0 protocol with a PCIE x8 interface, delivering a total bandwidth of 40Gbps to ensure that each SFP+ port achieves 10GbE transmission and reception simultaneously. The adapter fully supports Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq) and PCI-Sig SR-IOV. Its built-in virtualization technology enables I/O virtualization and Quality of Service (QoS) features. I/O virtualization enhances network performance with Flexible Port Partitioning (FPP) and multiple Rx/Tx queues, allowing servers to fully utilize the SR-IOV function. QoS functionality is supported in both virtualized and non-virtualized server environments. This unified networking solution consolidates LAN and SAN traffic onto a single high-efficiency network fabric. Users can deploy NFS, iSCSI, or FCoE to transport both network and storage traffic at speeds up to 10 Gb/s, providing a stable and efficient way to connect servers to iSCSI SANs. The Open-FCoE architecture supports FCoE initiators on Windows, Linux, and VMware ESXi hypervisors, delivering high-performance 10 GbE FCoE connectivity.
