Step 1: Clean the side of the M. 2 SSD with a wet wipe (bag, No. 1) and dry it with a dry towel (bag, No. 2).
Step 2: Remove the double-sided protective film of the light blue thermal silica gel pad.
Step 3: Place a silicone pad (1mm blue) on the front and try to place it in the middle of the M. 2 SSD, gently press it with your finger.
Step 4: Place the heat sink on the silicone pad and align the screw holes.
Step 5: Fix the ends of the heat sink with 2 rubber bands. 4. Fixing the heat sink with screws
Step 1: Clean the sides of the M. 2 SSD with a wet wipe and dry with a dry towel.
Step 2: Place a silicone pad ( 0.5 mm pink) on the aluminum back cover. Make sure there is no semi-circular space covered.
Step 3: Place the M. 2 SSD on a thermal silicone pad. Make sure to align the semi-circular space of the aluminum back cover.
Step 4: Remove the double-sided protective film of the light blue thermal silica gel pad.
Step 5: Place a silicone pad (1mm blue) on the front and try to place it in the middle of the M. 2 SSD, gently press it with your finger.
Step 6: Place the heat sink on the silicone pad and align the screw holes.
Step 7: Fix the heat sink to the back cover with 6 screws. 5.
Warning: Do not allow the heat sink to touch the metal end of the M. 2 SSD during installation, as this may cause a short circuit.
