On the first use, you may notice smell and light smoke which is from a protective coating that is used during the manufacturing process. A proper burn-in cycle (better done outdoor) for 15 minutes will help get rid of the coating residue.
The temperature light goes on and off periodically to maintain the desired temperature automatically. It's not mean that the product is defective.
ATTENTION PLEASE
- It takes about 20 minutes for a hot plate to completely cool down, which helps keep the food warm longer. Hang your hand 1'' to 2'' over the surface to feel for any residual heat.
- Clean the outside with a clean damp cloth. Use dish detergent in case of hard stains.
- It will take about 10-15 minutes for a four-quart pot of water. Please cover your cookware with a lid when it is used to boil water.
- Please do not touch the burner body during use.
- Never immerse any part of the burner in water.
