This PCIe host card is based on the Aquantia AQtion AQC107s controller, a 5-speed, 10G PCI Express to Ethernet controller that can easily handle 10 Gbps line-rate performance while delivering maximum flexibility. It delivers up to 10 Gbps network connectivity speed through 100m of Cat 6a cabling or up to 5Gbps on legacy Cat 5e or Cat 6 cabling. This card supports auto-negotiation allowing the NBASE-T solution to optimally select the best speed: 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE), 5 Gigabit Ethernet (5GbE), 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ( 2.5G bE), 1 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) or 100 Megabit Ethernet (100MbE) over Cat5e/Cat6 or better cabling.
