This 4WD Mecanum Robot Car is built around an IO Port Shield Sensor Extension Board with Level Conversion for the micro:bit. The integrated Driver Board features 4 WS2812B RGB LEDs, 2 IR Receivers, 2 Rainbow LEDs, a power switch, a line tracking sensor and potentiometer, motor drive ports, a battery holder, and Building Block Extension Holes. Its four Mecanum wheels enable 360° omnidirectional movement, including drifting left or right. Four DC Motors deliver continuous strong power, and each wheel can be individually programmed. Its robust design is well-suited for navigating obstacles. Two.pdf format tutorials are provided, covering MicroPython and Makecode programming, which can be switched to Javascript. These resources aid in learning programming and electronics. You can program the car for various projects like Grade Climbing, Obstacle Avoidance, Ultrasonic Following, RGB Colorful Light, and IR Remote Control. It features wireless control via the built-in IR Receiver and the micro:bit's Bluetooth function, allowing for remote operation with a compatible app. The kit comes with a Micro:bit V2.2 board. A battery is required but not included. This kit is intended for ages 15+.
