Will this cable fit the Samsung T1 portable 250 GB external SSD external hard drive, as a replacement for the short one that comes with the unit?

I purchased this cable for use with a Samsung S5 model cell phone and it has worked very well. I checked Samsung com for additional info on the T1, but could only resolve that it is a 3.0 ver of USB, but from all appearances, it looks like the other end connection is a Micro B plug. You might want to check with Samsung customer support via email to verify, if not, this cable is affordable enough to try it out.
