does this printer come with the black and color cartriges upon purchase?

Yes, the color and B&W cartridges are included. However, I would suggest ordering an additional set of all if you do much printing at all, or have school-aged children. When the cartridges are getting low, it's usually when I'm preparing to print a project. I'd also suggest ordering the higher output cartridges so you aren't changing them as often. The color cartridges tend to run out very close to each other. Great product. I own several Brother color laser all-in-ones and they are exceptional. Do spend the money to get the extended warranty. And no, I don't work for Newegg lol.

Yes but they are only partially filled so it runs out fast.  Count on getting a new set of toner cartridges pretty soon if you print a lot.

does this work with windows 10? thanks

Yes, I am running Windows 10 on my machine here and the printer works fine.  It is also connected to 4 other machines with a wireless connection and they are also working well.  I have had no problems st all with the printer.

You will need to ask someone else I have not ran out of color yet. I bought this because I was tired of replacing ink in my inkjet every time I started to print something after it sit for a month, It was costing me a fortune in ink.

Hello.  From what I understand the ink cartridges in a laser printer doesn't dry out as it does in an inkjet.  My printer gets extremely infrequent use and causes the ink to try.  Do the LED printers have the same problem?

This is something that we have never experienced and we have two of these.  One that gets used several times a day and the other only about one day a week.  I also have a HP Office jet 476DN and like the Brother MFC-9330 much better.  It has less network issues and is very reliable. The ink volume may be a bit less, but it is worth it.

Cn his device air print from iPad, iPhone 4S? can it make color photocopies?

I haven't tried to AirPrint but yes, it can do color copies just fine.  Great printer! I use it as a (home) wireless network printer for laptop & desktops from anywhere in the house.

Does anyone know why the printing colors are not the same as would normally be associated with the document? Is this a calibration issue? Toner issue?

-Are the colors off when printing from all programs or just certain ones?
-Are the colors off when printing from other computers (or a memory stick for that matter)?
-How do the colors compare to a test page generated internally from the printer?

Answering these questions will give clues to where the problem is.

Is there a difference between this printer and a laser?

A laser printer printer uses a laser beam, which bounces off a moving mirrored surface. When the laser reaches the rotating imaging drum, it creates a static charge that attracts toner to it, which is then transferred to the page. The laser scans across the page in sequence, emitting thousands of light bursts per second.

An LED printer, on the other hand, uses an array of tiny LED lights that light up at different times to create the static charge. Since the lights span the entire width of the drum, an LED printer requires fewer moving parts.

Yes it does. I also believe it will duplex input and output (I've only used the output duplexer).
