Answer 1: Hardware version which supports RLC-520A: Reolink 8CH NVR: N2MB02. Reolink 16CH NVR: H3MB18. You can verify the compatibility via System Information of the NVR.
Question 2: Is the camera compatible with third-party software?
Answer 2: The RLC-520A IP camera is compatible with Onvif 2.1 third-party software. But currently the smart human/vehicle alerts can't work well on these third-party software. It needs to work with Reolink APP or when the camera connects to Reolink NVR
Question 3: What type of Ethernet cable can work with this camera?
Answer 3: This camera supports CAT5, CAT6, CAT7 Ethernet cable and T-568B connector with 8 PIN. The longest cable it supports is 330ft (100 meters) network cable, and 295ft (90 meters) cable when you connect the camera to Reolink NVR.
