The specs say it has built in speakers, I just bought this and set it up at my office but I have no sound and it says "no speakers installed". Do I have to set them up? I didn't see anything about speakers in the booklet so I'm not sure it actually has speakers.

mine HAS SOUND via hdmi, also has audio in & audio out ports on back of monitor that I have never used/tested. if using windoze 7 or higher u shouldn't have to "set them up" but u DO HAVE TO connect speakers to ur system either by AUDIO LINE to audio in port (green) on monitor (in ADDITION to video vga cable) or by using hdmi cable (video & sound on same cable). I connect to this monitor when I'm making or troubleshooting home theatre pc (htpc(s)) or android TV boxes. I specifically use this monitor to verify units hdmi audio output IS functioning. I verify hdmi out sound with LibreElec, Ubuntu 18.04 (monitor has separate LEFT & RIGHT speakers) & windoze 10, cause I use multiple boot systems. If having issues the 1st thing I would do is boot Ubuntu 16 or 18 for superior troubleshooting capabilities, can be done off a flashdrive WITHOUT installing. in ubuntu, Settings>Sound>(Output tab)>Test Speakers This could eliminate any windoze driver/issues. I can't really tell exactly where the speakers are, probably on bottom hidden in vent area.
