I have a channel master antenna that have a piece similar to that one and it broke. I am not sure if this one is for antenna? he piece on the antenna that I have, have two wires.

Yes, it's for an antenna, i hung my dtv antenna outside but twisted the connector too hard so it broke, so bought this to replace it. Working fine for 2+yrs now.
