Hi, I want to connect my ethernet cable from my TV to my computer in the same room. I was thinking I could use a splitter to connect my computer and my tv together. Will this item do the trick? -Thank you

Hello. No this spitter is for spitting coaxial cable only- not ethernet cable. The way I use this splitter is I split the coaxial cable from where it enters the room into two lines. One for the tv and one for the modem. Hope this helps!
