The Supermicro SuperServer 6028U-TR4T+ is a high-end server which utilizes the CSE-829UAC-R1K02-T 2U server chassis where the SC829UAC-R1K02-T 2U server chassis and the X10DRU-i+ dual processor motherboard subsystems reside. The SC829UAC-R1K02-T 2U form factor build is equipped with 12x hot-swappable 3.5 SAS 12Gbps/SATA 6Gbps drive bays and supports full height PCIe expansion cards. The X10DRU-i+ supports E5-2600 v3/v4 processors paired with up to 3TB ECC LRDIMM or 1.5TB ECC RDIMM at 2400MHz and includes the AOC-2UR6-i4XT riser card which has 4x X540 10GBase-T ports, (4x 10Gbps RJ45). The 2U form factor build supports 12x hot-swappable 3.5 SAS 12Gbps/SATA 6Gbps drive bays and 2x 1000W Titanium Level power supplies. The 6028U-TR4T+ offers flexibility for use cases that involve intense application workloads using its equipped 8x SATA3 (6Gbps), 12x SAS3 ports support via optional add-on Cards.
