Question 1

So if the wheel is detachable does that mean that Thrustmaster will be making difrent style wheels to put on it like an F1 version?

Accepted Answer

Yea, Thrustmaster has lots of wheel rims that work on this T300RS wheelbase.  You can use them all on this; the T500 rim, TX rim, GTE rim, and F1 rim.  The T300 is excellent, only slightly less powerful than the T500, but it's increased rotation and smooth, easy-to-quickly-turn steering allow for more precision on the the track vs. the T500, imo.

Question 2

What type of connection does the pedal set require on the T300RS?  Also, can you use any load cell or progression pedal set if you can locate an adapter for the T300RS pedal set connection?

Uses a phone jack  / Ethernet style connection that plugs into the steering module. Unlike the TS 500 there is no load cell adaptor that I could find out there yet. While the wheel is great the brake set is Functional but not progressive.  They recommend using a t3 pA pedal set for another 100 bucks. A ts500 pedal set will plug right into a ts300 and there is a guy who makes an adaptor to plug a pedal set from a logitech g27.  Both have progressive adaptive technologies out there if you can find one or have one if you are upgrading.

Question 3

What do you mount the wheel to? Just a table?

You can. It comes with a clamp for a table...That said, I'd STRONGLY recommend "hard mounting" it - that is, mounting it with bolts, if you can. This wheel offers strong enough force feedback that I can't imagine (though, admittedly, I've never tried) the clamp would perform very well.

If you can manage to zip a couple 6mm (I think they're 6mm?) holes through your desk/table/whatever (make sure it's sturdy! No TV Dinner trays!) and run a pair of M6 (again, double-check the measurement on that) bolts through, I'd think you'd have a better experience

will this work o n euro truck simulator2 and american truck simulator?

As far as I know it should.  I haven't played either of those games, but they are highly acclaimed and would be surprised if this wheel didn't work.  It's a solid wheel.

Question 5

Can this be used with a Play Seat?

I don't own a Play Seat, but I do know there are 4 different mount screw holes on the bottom that use M6 screws that you need to purchase separately.  The screws should not exceed 12mm into the holes in the wheel base.  I was able to mount this very securely to a Wheel Stand Pro.

Is it free voltage? Or is it 110V only ??
I can't get this information on the specifications.
