This plug in dimmer for lamps can be controlled remotely through the App from anywhere at any time.
Resolution for Common Issues
Q1: I can’t pair the dimmer plug with the app.
This device works only with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks, not 5GHz. Make sure your phone is connected to 2.4GHz during setup. Pairing must be completed within 3 minutes; otherwise, restart the process. For reliable pairing, install the plug in an area with strong Wi-Fi coverage.
Q2: What devices is this dimmer plug compatible with?
This dimmer plug is only compatible with 2-prong dimmable lights. It can NOT be used with: 3-prong lights; low-voltage lighting systems (such as 12V/24V lights); fans or motorized devices; lamps or devices that have their own power output ports.
Q3: The dimmer plug can’t adjust the brightness of my lights.
The plug is compatible only with dimmable LED/CFL bulbs (up to 150W) and incandescent bulbs (up to 300W). It cannot dim non-dimmable bulbs, smart bulbs, or lights controlled by remotes. Please verify that your bulbs meet the required dimmable specifications.
Q4: Why can’t I control the two outlets independently?
The dual outlets are designed to operate together as one unit. Both outlets turn on, off, or dim simultaneously, allowing you to control two lamps or light strings at the same time.
Q5: I can’t link the dimmer plug to the voice assistant.
Not support Apple HomeKit. Ensure the plug is first added to the TreatLife app and is online. This device supports only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, not 5GHz. After confirming it is functioning in the TreatLife app, enable the TreatLife skill in the Alexa app and complete the linking process.
