USB 3.0 Slim SATA Optical Drive Enclosure (9.5mm)
The VANTEC NST-510S3-BK USB 3.0 Slim SATA Optical Drive Enclosure is designed to complement your ultra-slim laptop or Mac Air. Featuring a standard slim SATA internal interface and a USB 3.0 external interface, it lets you easily convert your slim 9.5mm height Blu-Ray or DVD RW optical drive into a USB 3.0 external optical drive.
The USB 3.0 enables fast data transfer, and is also bus-powered so you do not have to carry around an extra ac adapter.
The enclosure is fully compatible with any OS, and supports plug-and-play feature for easy installation. No software or drivers are required.
This enclosure is lightweight, ultra-slim and compact (150 x 140 x 15 mm) for maximum portability. The outer shell is made of strong and lightweight aluminum material to protect the optical drive from damages.
