Stupid question, but does this come with the required power supply? All sites do not include this in the package contents.

Yes it does.  Also that stand can be mounted to the back and the whole thing mounted on the back of a monitor.

Question 2

Does this require any extra software? I have 4 Wide screens that a customer wants to connect to one computer but they will be located in multiple areas. Would this work for that?

These are meant to be used with MicroSoft Multipoint Server. Current version is 2012. You need the server software and the licenses for each user/zero client. There are drivers that need to be loaded on the server side for USB over Ethernet to go beyond normal USB distances.
Multipoint is typically used in educational or libraries, but has some very nice features. You as admin can see everyone screen and share screens with other users.
The next version of Windows Server is slated to have the Multipoint role added to it.
You may be better off if you cannot wait for the new version to use Windows server 2012 R2 w/Remote Desktop Services and client license with inexpensive chromebox devices running a RDP client. Be aware that most USB peripherals will not play nice so make sure everything is network based for printers, scanners and such.

Hi, I work in an automotive parts plant and our Engineering Manager is looking to run a 32" LCD panel display with OEE info queried from a MS SQL server. Would this WYSE Zero be a good thin client tool to query the Server over ethernet and drive the display with the results?  Thanks for taking your time to assist us with this!

You could get an RDP Thin Client and have it connect to a PC (or Terminal Server) somewhere on your network and take control of it. ChromeBox running a RDP client would work too.
