The fastest card I own is rated at 30MB/s read and in testing with this reader I hit 33MB/s. It would be safe to assume that it will handle at least 35MB/s or 233x speed cards, and possibly faster. The dual slot design is nice. It means you don't have to find an SD to microSD adapter every time you want to use a microSD card.
