Works great with an old Gigabyte Aorus motherboard (PCIe5), Linux Mint 22.1 (~=Ubuntu 24.04), kernel 6.8, Nvidia open driver 570.133, dual monitor 4K and 1440. CUDA, Vulkan, all work flawlessly. Using it for AI/ML programming and a bit of gaming. In a well-ventilated case, it is quiet and runs <70 °C under load.

its a 9070

I bought this card for a cool budget upgrade and power efficiency. (183w at Ultra settings with activation of every RTX 50** features provided by this generation of card.) Most triple AAA games on HD can be set at ultra settings with no problems, but beware at 4k resolutions. 4k textures might require more vram. If you have a triple HD screen setup at 5760x1080, (which is less pixel count to generate rather than 4k) you might be satisfied also. American Truck Simulator or Euro Truck Simulator 2 at 5760x1080 is an excellent trucking experience with this card. Lastly, MSI mystic light on the card changes colors over time. (If you like that kind of stuff)

dlss 4 and frame gen are amazing, raw raster performance is on par with the rx 7800 xt. Encoding is why i chose nvidia, and ray tracing too, the encoding is bad, when running a game, you cannot record in high settings because it drops frames on the encoding on high settings. I am running this on a gen 4 pcie mother board with a5950x, so i dont know if that is why, i ended up paiiring this card with an intel arc a380, the 380 just does the encoding for game footage and streaming.

Low temps Quiet Easy install Low power draw

Small form factor and runs cool.

I get great frame rate in almost any title Low temps Low usage High powered

Works well, great for 1080p 165hz gaming, cool temps leave your headroom for Oc Overall great product

It's SFF compatible, thin, and has great performance. It's also inexpensive, and the newly introduced thermally conductive gel is in contact with almost all parts, so it has great cooling power.

Weve been consistently pushing this thing for ours. Its more than enough to do the job!

The ASRock Challenger model is the cheapest RR7700 XT I've seen in a while, and it's one of the few new cards in stock in my country outside of scalper's dens. The GPU performed wonderfully, putting in a solid 60+ FPS in all of my favorite games at 1440p (even on an Ultrawide display). The drivers installed easy, and even without it the card worked great out of the box. The fans are also whisper quiet.
