Price Performance

So what led me to ASRock and their GPU's is my friend got an RX 7900 XTX RDNA3 from ASRock and it has worked great. Almost no complaints but we'll get to the 1 thing (very minor really). The card says what it does, does what is says and is in business to do business at 3440X1440 resolution. Also, got to say AMD has corrected their driver game for those wondering.

Easy setup, Whisper quiet compared to some other iGPUS

Plays Fortnite great at 1080p For only $249.99 I put it in an Hp Omen with a 13100 intel Desktop 600 power supply and 16 gigs of memory.

Save $$$ 4080 performance with more modern tech. VR works great.

Near silent operation (I can't hear the card at all) Zero coil whine No driver issues whatsoever Low power consumption Effortless installation Outstanding 1440p high refresh rate performance 16GB of VRAM!!!

- Awesome 1080p performance with potential to move to 1440p. - 16 GB VRAM - Very cool, very quiet - Access to FSR 4

This card is fast. This card is Thicc. The cables that came in for the card will hold up well to temp and should not melt on you like other 5080's and 5090's. I was able to OC this unit to the extreme, and the temperature has held steady for 12+ hours a day, even when my case (Hyte Y60) gave it VERY little room to spare.

- no external power supply - performance as expected

- Runs clean and quiet during gaming & editing. - Looks cool - "Compact" form factor fits my smaller case (ProArt 401b) - Easy driver installs, updates, and management through the app.

Works well with Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS using NVIDIA drivers, using the native Ubuntu drivers, it works, just featureless, it seemed it was not getting the boost under heavy graphic load. I bought it mostly to process videos faster using KDEnlive and so I would not use the CPu ram when processing large images. Using on a HP800 with 24 GB ram. Now, the swap file never gets used. Important note: This takes an X16 slot, using in a PCIe 1.0 x16 slot, but, only uses 8 lanes so it is a 2.0 8x card. If you buy this thinking it will fit a 8x slot, it will not. When I review the second card I bought, I will post the before times making a large video, then after using 1 or 2 cards.

Picked up at launch for $349, replaced an older XFX 6700 10gb. Decently quiet, much improved FSR and RT performance. Was able to get ~60fps on the black myth wukong benchmark with no frame generation at 1440p ultrawide resolution. With frame gen that jumped to over 100 fps.

-Fit inside my ITX case due to it being one of the smallest dual fan 5070's. -Hasn't melted (yet?) ha -it shouldn't.
