Its affordable without feeling cheap. You get MSIs reliability and solid warranty support, which gives me peace of mind compared to other budget units. If youre running something like an RTX 5070, 750W is plenty of power. You dont need to drop $150+ on a massive 1000W unit when this handles everything perfectly fine.

Cables were easy to plug into everything

My build required more SATA power connections than the five supplied. Tried another cable that I had from a previous build, different maker.. do not try this as that new cable was not compatible despite an identical PSU plug. Then went on the web trying to find an ASUS cable, to no avail after 48H . Then did a chat with ASUS and the issue was resolved in 10 min with another triple SATA PSU cable arriving at my home free of charge 3 days later .. and do not exactly live in a big centre ! So the response was far better than I could have hoped for and wonder why I lost all that time searching the web for a cable when ASUS was ready to send me one free of charge. Might try that directly next time. The PSU itself is perfect !

The side-mounted connectors make cable management a lot easier. Since its fully modular and uses smaller PSU-side plugs, routing cables feels cleaner and less cramped compared to traditional designs. One thing to watch for: the connectors are on the side, not the rear. Youll want a case that mounts the power supply horizontally so you actually have room to access and route those cables properly. Vertical mounts can make this design awkward or unusable.

For many years, Super Flower has sold as re-stamped top tier EVGA (and other notable companies) power supplies, but now out of contract now with EVGA Super Flower has decided to market directly to the USA. Do not mistake Super Flower with the dozens of off-brand Chinese power supplies found on Newegg. Super Flower are top tier Taiwan manufactured that trade blows with top spec quality kings like Seasonic (but at an attractive lower price). Customer service is responsive (through Newegg marketplace messenger) taking less than 1 business day to reply. 10yr warranty (RMA handled through Newegg as I understand it) so buy with confidence. The Leadex VII 1300w has been quiet and stable out of the box. Running a 5800X3D & power hungry Sapphire 7900 XTX Vapor in a no compromise top spec rig with all the extra's. Zero issues. 1300w + ATX 3.0 certified insures it will grow / suit my needs for many years & upgrades to come.
