This works great! Plugged into my MacBook Retina and in seconds I had an internet connection with my wireless disabled. No drivers no CDs, not setup. Speeds are just fine, I probably should have spent a little extra for the 3.0 gigabit version but I really just needed it so that I could have a hard connection as I am using Synergy on my PC to control my MacBook setup on my second monitor. The wireless was a bit choppy sometimes. Tested speeds actual speeds are about 60-140mps at least that was the transfer speed to my network drive. I like the white since it matches the rest of the Apple stuff I already have. I also like that this has the LED lights in it too.. How else are you supposed to know it's working?
