This is the second RT-BE92 that I have installed in the past two weeks (April/May 2026). The first one is my main mesh network router, connected directly to the fiber network. The one I am reviewing is mesh networked about 75-100 feet away, by my livestock barn. The connection is GREAT! This WiFi-7 mesh network is supplemented by two other WiFi6 routers (RT-AX55). This router works very well! My connections are "near" instant! I can cover about 7 acres, without interruption and another several acres marginally, including remote areas with the mesh network that I have established.

This thing works so great! The gate at the front of my property is over 200 feet away from my house and I've never been able to open the gate with my cell phone because my wifi wouldn't reach out that far. As soon as I hooked this up on Repeat I can open my gate with my phone and from in my backyard as well! Hallelujah! I was skeptical that it would work, but I have it mounted in my dining room facing toward the gate and this works great.
