I am using this in client mode to get internet to my receiver. My receiver has an ethernet port but no wifi. This thing basically turns any device with an ethernet port into a wifi device. Now i have internet radio and my receiver connects to my computer, so i can play from my music list on the computer! My router is about 25 feet away from the tp-link and there is one wall in between as well. And this thing works flawlessly!!! been using it for a month now with zero problems
