Nice screen - using primarily for business and video purposes, so cannot speak specifically for gaming. Easily and quickly mounted to the wall via VESA mounts. So far - very happy!

OLED with glossy screens go like peanut butter and jelly! Rich deep black levels with colors that pop off the screen. The glossy screen gives a smooth yet vibrant look to the image and it compliments the capabilities of OLED well imo. Its really nice going through old games and seeing the colors upgraded and being able to make out new details. Very immersive gameplay! Horror games with dark surroundings are extra eerie as they display true black levels now. Games like that on an IPS panel with its glow was like like playing with a night light lol. It's not retina but at the distance I sit from it (2.5-3ft) 1440P is a non issue. Props to Newegg for their service and shipping this one out lightning fast!

This monitor was sold as "Used, Open Box, Refurbished" and when it arrived I unpacked it and whoever had packed the device had worn, perhaps thin cotton gloves, because there was no evidence of fingerprints. The monitor looked to be packaged in its original packaging. All the accessories were present such as the HDMI cable with the protective plastic caps in place. I attached the monitor using an HDMI cable to a Hewlett-Packard Zbook x2 G4. The screen resolution of this laptop is 3840 x 2160. The monitor worked absolutely perfectly. I did not note any failed pixels. I will be using the monitor for Microsoft Excel, Word, browsing the web, Mathematica, watching YouTube videos, perhaps a little amusing stuff from time to time. ASUS is one of my favorite companies. I have used many of their monitors and motherboards over the years. Later I will be attaching this monitor to a far more advanced system running Windows 10 Professional Workstation x64. I will be watching with the passage of time for more of this exact model of monitor so that I can accumulate 3 or 4 of the exact same model.

Finally, an ultrawide that is 1440, I couldn't stand the 1440 monitors as their PPI was lower. Love this monitor!

Monitor shipped quickly. Big enough but not too big for my small office desk. Games look great in 1440p.

Color, Contrast

This monitor is great! It is very clear and when you play games on it, it feels very real.

Very sleek design. Pretty heavy with quality. Screen is gorgeous. Great settings for what you want. If you have an older UltraGear from LG. It's about the same calibration. I don't use HDR since most games don't support it or support it well. Gsync/free sync is always a plus for options.
