Title says everything. Awesome Drive. First unit was DOA, but NewEgg replaced it and life is good now. What's not to like about this HDD? It's SOLID. Performance is what one would expect from a regular NAS/Pro drive, consistently 250MB/s using APFS, and a bit above that using HFS+.

Easy to use, it does not get any simpler. Just put the hard drive in the enclosure and plug it it. No external power supply needed.

Well built, high performance, low cost, my energy efficient drives run cool. Includes USB cables.

10TB is an absolutely huge amount of capacity. If you're looking to store Blu-Ray rips, this can store 200 full 50GB discs on one drive. More than fast enough over a gigabit network connection. This will use the full capacity of your home network unless you're rocking a 10GB LAN. This thing is built like a tank. Very solid and expensive looking and feeling (as much as you can get with a bare internal drive, that is) IronWolf Pro drives include a free two year subscription to Seagate's Rescue Services in case your drive ever does have issues. You can look up Seagate's site for more specific information. Rated for a 300TB/year user workload. That's pretty intense! If you consider a fully packed 50GB Blu-Ray disc as an example, this drive is rated to stream 6,000 movies a year, or 16 movies a day! 5 year warranty vs the standard IronWolf's 3 year warranty.
